Collection: Altoon Sultan

Altoon Sultan is an artist and who specializes in rural landscapes painted in egg tempera, but her varied practice also includes printmaking, rug hooking, and porcelain relief sculpture, among others. She is currently represented in Los Angeles by Chris Sharp Gallery, and in London by Hollybush Gardens Gallery. Her work is in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Yale University Art Gallery. She has received two grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. She lives in Vermont, in a two hundred year old farmhouse.
