Collection: Drea Cofield

With traditional techniques and a masterly touch, Drea Cofield’s paintings explore our desire to look, to be seen, and to find connection. Working from observation is key to her understanding of color, of form, of speed and touch. She paints in the landscape or in her studio every day, depending on the weather. Drea received her MFA from Yale University in 2013, and shows with Kravets Wehby in New York City, and Galleri Urbane in Dallas, TX. She lives in Brooklyn with her always growing collection of paintings and plants, and two shy cats.
