Collection: Matt Zaccari

Matt Zaccari moves quickly, painting wet-into-wet to capture a variety of everyday subjects. With direct brushwork, he distills information down to images with a distinct poetic weight. He received his MFA in Printmaking from Pratt in 2012, but now prefers the immediacy and surprise that come with painting. When a piece doesn’t work, he throws it out. Matt loves working as a florist, and he runs every day.
